Sorry these episodes are so few and far between :( I'll work on getting the editing for these done faster, but expect an episode once every other week or so until then.

Pokemon Insurgence is a fan game released in late 2017 that Flooka and I have never actually played before. We decided to make our initial playthroughs way more challenging and wanted to do a Soul Link Nuzlocke with each other! This playthrough takes the standard Nuzlocke rules (one encounter per route, death is permanent, etc) and adds Soul Link Rules, which state:

- pairs are formed by each person's encounters on a route. So, for example, I catch an Exeggutor and Flooka catches a Piloswine. The Exeggutor and Piloswine are permanently linked across games, and if one is boxed or faints, the other must follow!

- Encounters are a bit annoying to get because we have to have opposite genders and different types. Outside of gifted Pokemon, we aren't allowed to have two Pokemon of the same type in a pair.

- Across both parties, Flooka and I are not allowed to duplicate primary typings. Since Flooka has a Piloswine, for example, I am not allowed to have an ice type in my party, but we are both allowed to have a Ground type in addition to Piloswine because Ground is Piloswine's secondary typing.

All of these rules lead to a really intense playthrough from start to finish! Enjoy :)
