212As promised, Intel had a ton to share about their data center / machine learning CPUs, specifically the Intel Xeon 9200 series of processors, based on Cascade Lake. We do an overview of the SKUs and their specs, but you can expect a full analysis soon.
We also see them announce Intel Optnance persistent memory DIMMs, so we have a bunch of details about them as well.
Elsewhere, Micron, Intel and Nvidia are seeking more funding from the US government for the development of chips, as well as an increase in funds for the sciences.
According to a report, AMD are expected to see a surge in hardware sales (both CPU and GPU) in the latter half of this year.
Finally, GameStop have released their earnings... and things are looking grim to say the least.
