Intel Stands Behind 9900K Benchmarks As Principal Technolgies Admits Fault
254Intel's 9th generation I9-9900K performance results against the ryzen 7 2700x and other processors was released by principled technologies, although since the results have been released, several pieces of criticisms have emerged. Including the fact that Ryzen 7 was operating in game mode, and the cooler wasn't the same. Intel have released a statement standing behind these results, but principled technologies have confirmed they're going to retest the ryzen 7 2700x results.
Intel have also confirmed that the Intel 9th generation coffee lake refresh processors will have the hardware mitigations for the meltdown variant 3 and variant 5, but the skylake x refresh will not.
Finally, Microsoft will be purchasing obsidian entertainment according to sources.
