Intel UHD 730 vs Modern Gaming | Not Great - but not terrible (feat. i5 11400)
In these desperate times, integrated gpus are for some people the most they can afford, so today my focus is on the newer generation of intel IGPUs, specifically the UHD 730, providing you with the results of some benchmarks, and most importantly answering the question if this is the right choice for you in terms of iGPU power.
GPU Mini Review:
The UHD Graphics 730 is an integrated graphics solution by Intel, launched in 2021. Built on the 14 nm+++ process, and based on the Rocket Lake GT1 graphics processor, the device supports DirectX 12. This ensures that all modern games will run on UHD Graphics 730. Unlike the fully unlocked UHD Graphics 750, which uses the same GPU but has all 256 shaders enabled, Intel has disabled some shading units on the UHD Graphics 730 to reach the product's target shader count. It features 192 shading units, 12 texture mapping units, and 8 ROPs.
