Update - this limitation are fixed or solved by using channel bonding - when selecting channel width, use the 20/40/80 or any available bonding, when you specify the channel width wireless ax201 will force to use 20mhz channel, what a bad software and driver...


The Intel Wireless Adapter Card AX201, on latest driver - March 2023 or before are very buggy , and really bad compared to smartphone wifi signal receiver, this kind of bug are really pissed everyone off, - what for AC and maximum speed if we cannot maximize the wifi speed on 80 mhz channel width, the current solution was to decrease to 40mhz channel, but on some router, the Wireless adapter AX201 still have slow speed the final though was that this wireless adapter AX201 are not suitable for laptop or anything that need much internet speed, what a waste of choice, this adapter are on every high end laptops but have very bad driver and optimization, until now i cannot find the answer why this kind of wireless adapter very bad dealing with 5Ghz AC wifi signal, will try the AX feature from this card later.
everyone have solution can comment. already searching online and not find the answer,
problem arise when you have gigabit connection on office but the 80mhz channel cannot be utilize... right now iam on many router, and all router affect same with this card but not on smartphone, so basically this intel wireless AX201 are bad card and everyone should avoid, already try on plug-in power and battery, no matter how your setting are, the speed always same,
