"Intercontinental Ignoramus" Earth Defense Force 5 (part 17)
1Time for a slight "redemption arc," as fellows of culture often call it, with gameplay missions actually being some modicum of fun (mostly) without the stunlocking that gave me so much trouble earlier or the main character syndrome that finishes off my spirit later (mostly). This would be a case where it's best to not pay too close attention though, otherwise you may find that redemption ruined by habitual spoilers, a major miscalculation of real world facts and statistics, ignorance of other cultures and nations that make the most redneck of hillbillies look all- knowing, and what is probably the most flimsy parody of an M. Night Shyamalan plot twist I've ever seen- to the point where one must question if it's calling the human race the bad guys. Just don't look a gift horse in the mouth and take at face value, it's good bug- killing action.
