Getting a hint of what enemy is to come, having Red's Unknown Friend — that enables the Breach() function — struggle a bit, and continuing to push forward toward the next goal. I think that giant thing is draining power from Red's Friend (and maybe the whole sword).

Released on May 20, 2014 by Supergiant Games, Transistor is a sci-fi themed action RPG that invites players to wield an extraordinary weapon of unknown origin as they fight through a stunning futuristic city. The game seamlessly integrates thoughtful strategic planning into a fast-paced action experience, melding responsive gameplay and rich atmospheric storytelling. During the course of the adventure, players will piece together the Transistor's mysteries as they pursue its former owners.
W, A, S, and D are for controls, with RMB to use an ability integrated into Transistor. Numbers (1, 2, etc) are used to switch between abilities, and some abilities are upgrades to existing ones (so when you attack you also have the effect of the other ability).
Will Red, the character you play, be silenced by the rulers of the city like those before her, or will she survive to sing another day? Let's stream some Transistor to find out!
