In this interview, Marc talks about studying Computer Science Games degree at a UK university.

Marc Walker is a BSc Computer Science Games Graduate with a 1st Class Honours at the University of Brighton where he began his journey to get into the Games Industry 3 years ago. During his time at University Marc was a student rep as well the Co-Founder and the first presiding President of the University’s successful Game Jam Society. The Society was formed to help students be given the chance to develop their skills and CV’s as future game developers during their time at University. The most well-known Game Jam for the society ‘Gay(m) Jam’ attracted the attention of multiple game studios across Brighton to help support over 60 students. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HRbLNULlVE0&t=1s

In 2019, Marc was also awarded ‘The Award for Outstanding Contribution’ by the University for his constant endeavours with the Game Jam Society. His next step after University is to look for Junior Producer or Junior Game Programming roles.
