Interview With Atze Kerkhof - Alien Sim Racer
561If you started to make a list of the best sim racers on earth, Atze Kerkhof is likely to be near the top of the list. As a member of Team Redline Atze has proven himself in nearly every sim there is. He is a world champion, a world record holder, a GT Academy finalist and has raced against the best sim racers on earth. Atze rise to the top in sim racing was a relatively short trip and after talking with him you can tell that his mental approach is a big part of his success. In this interview we talk about Atze's life before sim racing as a speed skater. We also talk about the methods he learned in training and how they apply to sim racing or real life racing. We also talk quite a bit about what makes a great sim racer and the approach that a pro takes to improvement. Then we also talk in great detail about the F3 test day that Atze got a chance to do with Van Amersfoort racing and the work that he has done with that team and its drivers.
