UPDATE: I appear to have misunderstood something when putting together this video. I had thought Stephanie had told me that Cynthia had told her she was ten feet away from the treasure at some point. However, Stephanie has clarified this. She was told by Cynthia that Forrest had told her she was less than 200 feet. At a party hosted by Dorothy, the owner of The Collected Works Bookstore, Forrest told Stephanie she was less than 6 feet. Then, the next day, Forrest emailed her and said it was no less than 12 feet. I apologize for the confusion, and hope Stephanie's clarification clears things up.

In the search for Forrest Fenn's treasure hidden somewhere in the Rocky Mountains, no searcher has probably been closer to retrieving the near legendary casque than Stephanie Thirtyacre.

Stephanie is a private individual who doesn't like publicity, so interviews with her are almost nonexistent.

I am lucky enough to call her a friend, though, and now that she no longer searches, she has finally agreed to let me ask her questions about her search areas when the comments about how close she was were made.

If this video interested you, please like and subscribe. My goal is to deliver interesting content every week, some treasure hunting related, some not. But most will have nuggets I've learned from the rabbit holes I dove in while searching for this treasure.

A part two will hopefully be coming soon!
