Into Anor Londo Proper S18 Pt2 Let's Play Dark Souls 3 Mage Edition
0When you've gotten your fill of pvp in the first half of the level and either slogged your way through or otherwise it's time to move on the real enemy here. If you've played the first Dark Souls you'll remember this venue as the one with O&S. However this time it's a bit different.
Once you pass the 2 silver knights, it's relatively easy to open the big doors compared to the previous incarnation. Simply go left, up the stairs, and proceed to either kill the group to your left or (I recommend) going the long way to the right. You can fairly easily kill the group, but the tiny space makes dodging troublesome and you can get cornered relatively easy.
Once on the ground floor, make a pseudo suicide run for the gate mechanism (to the left of the door) and then prepare for the worst arachnophobia of your life. I recommend running around and not fighting in pitch black with the mini fireball brigade chucking fireballs at you. Fighting outside is much easier, just make sure not to fall off. XD
Oh and don't forget the estus shard on the left on the ground floor (as you enter; in a chest), every estus makes a difference in the boss fight with Aldritch.
