Into the Breach Review - Steam Game Review for Subset Games Pixel Art game
With this Into the Breach Review you will see some Into the Breach gameplay and core mechanics which makes Into the Breach such a great indie game.
My Into the Breach Review shows a truly great pixel art tactical turn-based strategy PC game from indie game developer Subset Games who brought you Faster than Light.
This Into the Breach review will show you what you can expect from one of the best implemented, most refreshing IP and top Steam games in my library.
Not only will you get to see some of the great tactical turn based gameplay, but with this Into the Breach review you'll also experience the excellent audio and visual qualities from Into the Breach. Following an overview of all that which Into the Breach offers, and to conclude the Into the Breach review I'll present to you my thoughts on Into the Breach - whether I think it's a great indie game and if Into the Breach should be added to your Steam game library. ((Spoiler -- you should!))
As mentioned, Into the Breach is a tactical turn-based strategy game where you are tasked with saving humanity against the Vek. It's a very well designed PC Game with a depth to it which I equate to Chess.
When playing Into the Breach you'll find yourself deploying your squad to engage with the Vek in a series of mech combat scenarios where you are tasked with defending cities from the onslaught.
My Into the Breach review only touches on the core mechanics which are easy to get into, yet presents you with highly re-playable value for money.
Subset Games have done a remarkable job in designing a re-playable PC Games which doesn't feel like your're continuously grinding to progress through "Into the Breach"
From various customization options, to unlocking new mech squads, hunting achievement challenges and opening up the gameplay of Into the Breach by allowing you to replay it in a non-linear fashion - Into the Breach presents you with hours of valued fun which is all wrapped up into one of the most well presented audio and pixel art visual indie game packages.
The style reminds me of the best 90's PC games you could find, but implemented with the latest technology standards. I wish all games will take queue's from Into the Breach when it comes to designing their user interfaces, as it is evident that Subset Games have put a lot of love into it.
Into the Breach is the second game from Subset Games, and oozes with love and attention to every detail. This indie game is capable of quick games or long term gaming sessions. It's a PC game which makes you think, and this "Into the Breach Game Review" only presents you with the tip of the ice-berg when it comes to tactical possibilities and unfolding gameplay.
Into the Breach is a new IP, and I love the fact that Subset Games have come up with yet another completely new game mechanic.
Subset Games has become one of my favourite indie developers and I'm looking forward to seeing any of their future content coming to life.
