Our adventurers have cleared themselves with the authorities but someone continues to wreak havoc framing them. The search begins for the culprits but the journey is is treacherous.

Welcome to Tyranna. The year is 309 P.S. (Post Sanitatem), the event a mere three centuries before that changed the world forever, when every living being who could read simply disappeared. In the chaos that followed, many lost their lives, too young to navigate their way in the world. Within a few years, many more were lost. Not to chaos, but by the design of those around them.

However, soon those that remained began to form communities, then rules, then local systems to govern. Nations were created, and kings and queens crowned, heads of state appointed, councils gathered...all of the structures that create power. And, as has always been the case, not all who gained power deserved it or used it for the good of everyone.

In the nation of Lakros, the majority of those in power soon turned their focus entirely to gaining more power. It became increasingly obvious how little they cared for anyone or anything except themselves, but nowhere was it more evident than in the east. The nobility mined the east heavily for its many natural resources, often hiring those local to the area- severely underpaying them for their work...at least, according to the claims of those in east Lakros.

For a long time, tension grew. Three short years ago it erupted into all out civil war at the Battle for the Obsidian Mountains. After two and a half years, countless lives had been taken without any progress toward resolution, and the nation of Veyor stepped in with their expansive military and skilled negotiators. Even with the help of the most advanced civilization of the new world, it took five months before, finally, a tense agreement had been reached and a new nation formed in the east: the nation of Rexterra.

Over the last thirty days, prior to when our adventure begins, normalcy has begun to gradually return to the villages of Lakros. Soldiers are returning home, and many people's lives are beginning to fall into the comfortable routines they remembered before the war began - albeit now under the watchful eye of the Veyor guard...
