The Game Design is very open. Go whichever way you want, but be prepared to flee if you bite off more than you can handle! Much like in Fallout, for example, if you wander early into DeathClaw territory. Fly you Fool! Or maybe try to sneak past?
Plus, Pixelance has PermaDeath! Oh YA!
I know what you're thinking: Perma Death OMG NO! But the Perama Death is done very well and Fair in Pixelance, granting plenty of tools to survive tough encounters, like potions, and good gear, and you can always hoof it back to town and put the guards to work if you began to get overwhelmed.
Good looking game too, Old-School, and with easily readable Sprites too.👍
Anyway, if you like old skool RPG Indie Action, Packed with the Intense Promise of PermaDeath, with Challenging, but not cheap gameplay, then you might really like it.
