Ziggurat 2 is a Fast Paced, FPS RPG RogueLite about a Wizard blasting their way through the Imposing Dungeon: The Ziggurat! Created by Milkstone Studios, the developers behind the original and still very good Ziggurat, it is Challenging and Fast, with your Wizard Lvling up as they kill monsters, choosing one random ability out of at least 2 every time they Lvl, and you get stronger and stronger as you choose Perk after Perk, building the kind of character you want to play.
At the end of your run, you can unlock New Perks, or New Weapons that can spawn, even different Mages to play as; they all play a bit differently. Also, unlike the original Ziggurat, you can select your load out prior to starting: What a Prepared Wizard Your Are! :)
Rocking Procedural Generation, Permadeath and Meta Progression, Ziggurat 2 is an Excellent RogueLite, and it packs in much more Meta Progression than its predecessor, as in the original Ziggurat, the unlocks were characters, weapons, and perks. While in Ziggurat 2, in Addition to all that, your Very weapons Lvl up in Power! Cool!
Compared to the original, its room seems smaller, but that is balanced by the more Vertical Lvl design, enabling more Intense Wizard Blasting Action! Plus, New Weapons, New Abilities, New kinds of Lvls, and Nicer Graphics, This is Ziggurat, only with Even More Ziggurat!
Gameplay wise, quickly dodging the lodes of spawning enemies and their projectiles is the name of the game here, as you whittle away at them with your wand, and Blast them down with other weapons if you have the ammo for it. It is a Challenging and Fun game. Watch with me?
