This video features two arrangements of Manami Matsumae's intro theme from Capcom's 1989 arcade game Final Fight. Both arrangements were written for native playback on SNES hardware, and the audio was recorded directly from a launch model US SNES console.

Can anyone that likes video games not love Final Fight and its soundtrack?

So Final Fight already exists on the SNES, as does an "official," Capcom-produced version of this song. It was good, especially for being in such an early SNES game, but I wanted to see if I could do something more with it.

In my working on the song, I ended up coming up with two versions. I couldn't decide which I preferred, but since it's so short, I just decided to include both. They are both based on the arcade track, in case you were wondering why there are so many more layered parts than were in the SNES game's music.

The first one is loaded up with synthesized brass and some heavy-duty 80s style saw bass, while the second is a "mimic" of the original arcade tune. Which do you like better?
