Despite the dreaded chip shortage placing graphics cards in the same cost category as some small, twin engine private aircraft, my PC is starting - rather, continuing - to show its age.

She's served me well since 2017 after Hurricane Irma toasted the motherboard of my old, junky computer. But, the Intel i5-8600k is working overtime, even with the recent addition of 16 gigs of RAM, to keep my kinda ridiculous, multitasking workflow chugging.

So, by the end of Q1 next year, 2022, I hope to have a shiny new Ryzen 9 Zen 3 rig built around my EVGA GeForce 1070. I know, bottleneck city. I'll just overclock and run at a low res/refresh rate.

Nonetheless, I'm pumped (hehe, AIO joke). Can't wait to build my first PC and actually manage to play Battlefield, which may be in better shape by then...oof.
