Introducing Project Genesis (Devlog #0) #UE5 #GAS
What IS GOOD DEV GODS! After months of going back and forth on my project idea I've finally settled on one. Crazy thing it was my original idea from the start. I just had to gain the confidence to attempt it. Now I know everyone says that indies shouldn't try to make high quality games but I dont listen to them. I want to make the game I want to play and not the game I think I'll finish in 6 months so I can sell some early access BS on steam. I want this to be a project that reflects well on me and anyone else who may decide to join development along the way. This is the very early stages of developmentthe shit they dont show you but I wanted to start from ground zero so you guys can really watch as this game grows out of its infancy. My main focus has been building a solid foundation and now the game is at a point where all but a few important systems are built and ready to be expanded upon. Be it with visual content like characters and animations or more design centered tasks like Celestial balancing and Item creation. These are all things that are ready to grow as the game does. Thanks to all the people in discord channels like Unreal Slackers or Reids channel for lending me help to get where I am and I will continue to ask questions and figure out problems as the project grows. I appreciate you guys for supporting me as well !! We hit 1k baby!! I want to add that the art in the thumbnail is custom character concept art made for Project Genesis.
