Introduction to Minecraft Redstone Computers and Minecraft Redstone Latches (Flip Flops) and Clocks
Welcome to ChipNRat's Introduction to... series. This video is all about Redstone Latches and Clocks in Minecraft and introduces how those components, along with logic gates, combine to make Redstone Computers! We cover SR-NOR Latches, SR-NAND Latches, SR-AND-OR Latches, the JK-Flip-Flop and a very tiny very simple T-Flip-Flop using redstone. We cover some of the limitations of flip-flops or latches in minecraft as well as some practical (and simple!) uses for latches, how they operate, and how they are constructed.
These last few redstone videos got a bit more technical than I prefer for the Introduction To... Series, however I really love this subject and I think it's important to go in-depth at least once before moving on with using them in our day-to-day tasks. When I start using them in other videos I want reference material to exist on my channel that covers the topics.
In this video we are using Minecraft's latest version, Minecraft 1.16.1, unmodded.

About: Minecraft
Minecraft is an open-world sandbox game that allows you to build whatever you want, and explore however you want, created by Mojang and originally developed by Notch. In Minecraft, players explore a blocky, procedurally-generated 3D world, and may discover and extract raw materials, craft tools, build structures or earthworks, and depending on game mode, can fight computer-controlled "mobs", as well as either cooperate with or compete against other players in the same world. These modes include a survival mode, in which players must acquire resources to build the world and maintain health, and a creative mode, where players have unlimited resources. Players can modify the game to create new gameplay mechanics, items, and assets.
