In this PHP programming example, we are looking at a new section in Codecademy's Learn PHP course. We are in the section, PHP and HTML, the lesson is, "Introduction". In it, we learn that we are able to use PHP in many ways. We can use it in order to write programs that are standalone, and work on our terminals. We are also able to use PHP as a back-end web development language. It is designed to work with HTML well. We are able to create HTML templates that we can programmatically fill out and send some customized HTML to our site visitors. In this section, we will be looking at the difference between front-end and back-end programming. We will learn how to use PHP in order to generate customized HTML for a site's users. Understanding how PHP and HTML work together will help make you a better PHP developer. Practicing PHP and HTML will help you embed the concepts you learn in the following lessons.
