NOTE: The Stream is no longer being held at UStream.tv, it's being held at Twitch.tv, a site dedicated to video gaming streaming. So ignore everything I said about UStream in the video. All you need to know is that twitch is a different site, the quality will be better, and there will be 99% less adds. You still need an account, but again, it's free.

Hello everybody, SlimKirby here! And "Sixty-Four Hours of 64" will be upon us very soon! Here are just a few things though to keep in mind!

The event will be officially starting next Saturday (February 18th, 2012) at 12:00 EST. If that is not your timezone, see the countdown timer link at the bottom of this video description. I will be streaming for about 4 hours (I might go over the time if I am in the middle of something, so I won't be strictly "4 hours and then I'm done," but that's the timeframe I will aim for). Then on Sunday, I will do the same thing at another time. I will try to have a video up a few hours before the stream is scheduled to begin letting you guys know when the stream is supposed to begin, with a link to the streaming page. After 4 hours on Sunday, I will be done for that particular weekend, and then I'll return the following weekend to do the same thing.

To watch the stream, you don't need a Twitch account (which I forgot to mention in my video), you just need the latest flash updates (which if you can watch my youtube videos, you should have them), and a good connection. Keep in mind, Twitch is not perfect, so there might be some lag, and the quality won't be heavy-duty perfect.

Now if you want to participate in chatroom activity, you will need a Twitch account. If you want to be and remain a chat participant at the stream, you are agreeing to the following guidelines...
- You will not insult me or others at the stream (no flaming)
- You will not post pointless, and annoying messages (no spamming)
- You will not advertise yourself or your channel
- You must obey me, and the moderators at my stream, so if we ask you to stop something or do something, you must comply.
- Do not ask to become a moderator or a skype chatter (they are reserved for friends of mine, and people who I know)
- Just be on good behavior and don't do anything that you wouldn't want to be done to you, if you were in my position.
This is all I/we ask. We want to put on a good and successful event, and I'm taking a lot of time away from my schedule to put this on. If you do not follow the rules, we will kick you from the stream chat, and possibly ban you from it as well, and we do not want to do that, so don't put us in a position to do that.

As for stream games, obviously the library is going to remain strictly Nintendo 64 games, specifically the games I have in my library, which means that there will more than likely be some games missing. However, there is always the possibility of me purchasing some games during the course of this event, so if there is enough desire, I "might" (meaning it's not for 100% certain) get a game just for the stream, but please don't pester me into it. I'll try to get a N64 library up of the games I have over the next few days. Also, there might be a few games I'll do on the Wii's Virtual Console, just because...well...they ARE still 64 games :P

So yeah, I think that's really all I have to say for the event. All of the links I mentioned are below, and I guess I will see you guys on Saturday for the start of this! I am really looking forward to it, and I hope you guys are too! It should be a lot of fun! =)
