0This is certainly the most annoying fight thus far. It's only the one enemy, but he's very tricky. He can attack relentlessly, buff himself, chase you down, put you in seemingly no win situations, has higher priority attacks than you, to top it all off his key regenerates very fast.
So how do we defeat Tachibana? Well by abusing things that interrupt his ki regen. Meaning either Yokai water pots (Not my first choice as it's hard to keep him in the circle, and no ki pulsing.) or the lifeseal talisman from the Omnyo tree.
I prefer the talisman since it lasts a long time, and he easily swings himself out of ki quickly, allowing you to get a good grapple in. Add a weapon buff on top of it and it does even more damage. If you want to only do that for damage, a higher damage weapon may prove to inflict more damage. A spear probably makes this fight easier as staying at range is the key if you don't want slashed.
It's an annoying, infuriating, frustrating fight but I promise he's beatable. Just try and not panic and watch your ki. A red ki bar is a grapple against you and it flipping hurts!
