The PC specs for inZoi have been available for a few weeks now and many prospective InZoi gamers are worried that their PC won’t be able to play InZoi when the game gets released.
In this video I want to let you know what I think what type of computer inZoi requires.
First off, the bad news: InZoi is power hungry. Let me say it again: Inzoi is POWER HUNGRY. Many gamers enjoy playing the Sims Four and that game is a lot less power hungry than InZoi.
We know that InZoi is using the Unreal Engine 5 as its game engine. Unreal Engine 5 is the latest version of Unreal Engine and is probably the most powerful and popular game engine in the world.
Let me share with you some trivia: The Unreal Engine is so powerful that NASA is using Unreal Engine 5 as part of its training and mission planning process for its upcoming plans to explore the lunar south pole. That’s how powerful Unreal Engine 5 is.
Let's talk about InZoi again. In this video I want to talk about what type of hardware I think the game will need to run. In my educated opinion, the minimum specs that InZoi says it requires are simply the minimum specs it requires so that you can enjoy the game without a crazy amount of loading time and more. Basically, they give you the specs that are required to run the game smooth or somewhat smoothly.
It is my opinion that this means that it will probably not mean that you are required to have a 10th Gen Intel i5 or an RTX 2060 with 8 (corrected) gigabyte of video memory. It means that if you have those specs, you can most likely enjoy inZoi and not get frustrated by loading time, and a huge drop of frame rates.
So, if you have a PC that can run Unreal Engine 5, or if you already have played games that use the Unreal Engine 5, you should be fine to run InZoi.
This is not really amazing news, as games using the Unreal Engine 5 engine are only recently entering the world of games. If you played one of these games already, you most likely will have no trouble playing InZoi.
In conclusion, I want to say that some gamers think InZoi is a only a Sim 4 competitor. That is not exactly the case and given that hardware specifications of InZoi the benefits InZoi may have over the Sims, for example, the graphics, must be considered before purchasing InZoi. Otherwise, you might have to upgrade your computer hardware, and that can easily cost a large amount of money.
