Apple has released the new 5th generation iPad Mini and I decided to pick up the 64GB Wi-Fi model in Space Gray. I have an iPhone XS Max and a 12.9 inch iPad Pro... so why do I need this? Truth be told, I don't really "need" this, however thanks to a gift card and some discounts, the price was pretty good and I was considering getting one to use at work for taking notes. I think this size iPad is perfect for note taking and for being very portable. It now has Apple Pencil support but only supports the first generation Apple Pencil, which makes sense because it still has a lightning port. For me personally, this was actually a plus because I already had a first generation Apple Pencil so I didn't need to buy another one. I think this device has a very niche market, but for those that like the size, you'll really enjoy the spec updates to this.
