If your iphone 6s is not receiving group texts your going to want to first
1. Try restarting your iphone and wait to see if any new messages come in (as we mentioned before this can work if your iphone has been turned on for a long period of time without being turned off which can cause overheating)
2. Clear out some of your old text messages and then try restarting your iphone. If your inbox becomes full it will prevent any new messages from coming in
3. Go into your settings to make sure sms messages is turned on. Along with group messages and imessage
4. Another thing you can do if your iphone 6s is not receiving group texts is make sure you have a strong cellular connection by checking your wifi settings and data connection
5. You should also try resetting your network settings which has helped me before as well (to reset the network settings go into settings - general - reset - and then choose reset network settings)
