If the facebook app wont open on android your going to want to first
1. Check and make sure your login credentials are correct. If you had changed your password recently this would be an issue thats causing the problem
2. Try restarting your phone or tablet, and then relaunch the app. This will work if you have not turned off your device in a long while and its starting to overheat
3. Check to see if the facebook app is due for an update which will fix bugs or glitches it might be having
4. If the facebook app wont open on android still you should also check to see if your phone or tablet is due for an update. This will fix bugs or glitches in the software preventing certain apps from working correctly
5. Another thing you can do is make sure your internet connection is good. You can try refreshing your wifi or disconnecting and reconnecting.
6. If your still having no luck I would try to simply uninstall the app and then re install it (I've personally had lots of luck with this method in the past whenever I was having issues with a certain app)
