The iPhone 8 Plus is Apple's latest flagship with the new A11 Bionic chip whereas the OnePlus 5 sports Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 chip.

Both phones sport a 5.5" display, but Apple uses LCD technology, while OnePlus went the AMOLED route.

The OnePlus 5 runs on the close-to-stock Oxygen OS based on Android 7 Nougat, while the iPhone 8 Plus runs on Apple's own iOS 11.

Both the iPhone 7 Plus and the OnePlus 5 sport dual camera setups with similar implementations.
