iPhone SE/6c Coming in Early 2016
30The 4" iPhone 6c, perhaps renamed the iPhone 5se, WILL launch in 2016. Leaks from Apple's supply chain have indicated that the iPhone 6c [iPhone Mini/iPhone 7c?] will launch in the first half of 2016 with an A9 processor, support for Apply Pay, and a metal body. Other notable features may include an upgrade Facetime camera. However, the iPhone 6c will not have support for 3D Touch.
In addition to the supply chain rumors, logic suggests that Apple wants to keep a 4" iPhone in the lineup. Many customers desire smaller devices, but the iPhone 5s is no longer appealing for Apple to ship because it does not include support for Apple Pay.
