On May 25, Iran displayed its brand-new long-range ballistic missile. The Khorramshahr-4's low RCS allows it to "elude radar detection and penetrate enemy air defense systems." The Khorramshahr-4 has a 1,240-mile range and one of Iran's heaviest warheads, weighing 3,300 pounds. The new missile, named after a city in southwest Iran where an intense conflict took place during the Iran-Iraq War, is an Iranian version of the North Korean Hwasong-10 that was delivered to Iran in the middle of the 2000s.
