These are the first animations that I have done, but they look reasonably clean from what I can tell. The names are mostly just placeholders to use temporarily as a means to refer to the spells, as they're not my forte; I suspect they'll be renamed if others have ideas, even if these animations are used. The names don't work properly here either, but I don't care enough to bother fixing it. The real abilities might not be cast like a spell, but I did this for simplicity, replacing Fire, Bolt 3, etc. I know that the individual abilities aren't finalized yet, but the nice thing about stuff like this is that there's generally a way to reuse it if you don't need it for its original purpose.

I've took an attempt at three animations so far, for abilities that were suggested earlier on the forum:

Light Beam (L. Beam): ST, Holy elemental, used with Kirin.

Simple, but sensible. I mostly did this as an initial test to see if I could make a basic edit, then build my skills from there (I'm really just guessing my way through this). I still feel it's a viable animation for this attack though. The sound is the original Bolt 3 sound, maybe something else could show "divine attack' better, though.

Silence Attack (Sattack): ST, physical, 25% silence, used with Siren

This one is a little more standard; I mixed the music notes from Imp Song with a part of Shrapnel, because that looks physical, at least. I don't know how to put Daemoth's suggestion of a music note into practice because it's a "Special" physical animation, and I don't know what to do about that. I agree the music note would be cooler though (and Shrapnel is somewhat out of place anyways, even if it looks like a physical attack), so if anybody else knows an easy way offhand, that would be great. Keep in mind that I was too lazy to search it out myself though, so don't go to any lengths to find out for me if you'd need to dig for it. That is, unless you really want the animation yourself, then go nuts...

As for the animation, I like the music notes, but Shrapnel seems out of place, because Siren is not remotely machine. It does have the advantage of looking physical though, and could probably be taken as claws moving quickly. I figured I'd ask what you guys think of it before I go searching for a substitute though. The sound is a combination of NoiseBlaster and Shrapnel, and I think it works.

Waterga: MT, Water Element, used with Siren

Daemoth suggested using a variation on CleanSweep, so I jived with that. I mixed it with ForceField (though it's hard to tell), and Vengence (it was the only polished-looking way that I could find to avoid tinting the background dark yellow after the animation). I think that it looks pretty good, but it's a little long, especially for an early game spell. The sound used is just Cleansweep, as it needs to be as long a noise as possible.
