Yesterday we brought you news of 16 Air Assault Brigade, as it prepares to assume command of British Operations in Afghanistan. The First Battalion the Irish Guards is one of the elements in the brigade, tasked with mentoring the Afghan National Army across Helmand. They've completed their pre-deployment training with a spectacular live firing test on Otterburn Ranges in Northumbria.
