Iron Man 2 Review: Why It's Just Alright
1We're looking back on the Phase 1 MCU films in preparation for Avengers: Endgame!
After the highly successful first Iron Man film, Marvel solidified it's plans of making the first Avengers film. With that in mind, they needed to bring in a few extra characters to the mix, enter Nick Fury and Black widow! While they were a neat addition to Iron Man's story, the Avenger's initiative seemed to have taken over part of the film. Most of it felt like a glorified trailer for the Avengers coming out in 2012.
Regardless, this film had a few good moments, some fun dialogue and action, but besides that nothing really stood out.
This film, unfortunately, couldn't live up to the expectations of the first Iron Man.
