Iron Tank Tutorial With Commentary (NES)
1Around 4 hours 31 minutes to beat. This game has some tough parts, but I will break down some unique strategies I found in the tutorial version with commentary. Check that version out soon.
The first death on every new checkpoint will be shown but all other deaths are edited out for this version. So you will see one death for every checkpoint I died on, then next will be the successful attempt. The only exception is one drawn out boss fight that wasnt worth showing twice for a tutorial. I find this to be a better way to edit these types of games. It shows where the checkpoints are. Otherwise it makes for disappearing enemies and is more confusing. This tutorial version also has the final boss checkpoint replaced with better footage from my practice runs. After beating the game I replayed the final area and refined the footage for this version. This version also shows my first successful attempts on each section.
To speed things up I made save states on the beginning of checkpoints to reset faster and also to keep ammo that could be farmed in that location, but just wastes time to do so. Meaning no actual risk to farming that ammo, it was available in that area, and it was just an easy waste of time to keep collecting and dying. I never use save states to cheat, only to practice or speed up loading transitions.
