Almost a thousand British troops are deployed to the Baltic region as part of NATO's Enhanced Forward Presence. Other UK forces, including reservists, have also been there carrying out training exercises with NATO allies. Last November, 100 reservists from 4 MERCIAN took part in Exercise Iron Wolf, Lithuania's largest military exercise.
