Roland has tasked me in conquering a set of rich local lords. We will need their tax money in order to win this war. It is a small map, cramped and largely composed of swamp terrain. I chose the Knight faction.
This is Heroes of Might & Magic 2 Gold, released in 1998. I am playing the all campaigns with self-imposed Ironman rules. This means I cannot save-scum. I can't load a save that is old in the game's timeline. I can't load a save to redo battles, looking for a better outcome. All mistakes and bad outcomes must be accepted.
