0Finally got around to playing again jumping back in where I left off.
The first terror site is super important, I must aquire a dead deep one and a live deep one as they are required for Plastic Aqua Armor and Ion Armor... which are imperative to build ASAP. If this mission is a bust it basically spells doom for the X-COM project with a major set back.
