Ever since the inception of Attack on Titan's Final Season, Armin's been put in a bad spot. It seemed like his character was rising to a conclusion of epic proportions. Yet when he leaped, the landing split the fanbase apart due to it having a perceived lack of the heart and weightiness Attack on Titan is loved and adored for.

Initially I didn't agree with this opinion but with how many people are supporting this outcry it begs the question: Did Armin suffer the classic case of character regression? Is it true that Commander Erwin's choice to bring him back to the land of the living was a mistake? Is Armin a shell of his younger self? Only one way to find out.
