Pokemon GO’s next community day Pokemon is Seedot! May 24 marks the Shiftry Community Day in Pokemon GO. The special move this time around is Bullet Seed. Bullet Seed is an odd choice for Shiftry as it has the same stats as Snarl does. Both Snarl and Bullet Seed are very low damaging moves with high energy gains, so it makes little difference which one Shiftry is using. OH WAIT! THERE IS A DIFFERENCE?! Yes that baby little chip damage you get with each Fast Move can secure KOs on titans such as Altaria and Skarmory. Unfortunately for Community Day, that’s only with Snarl. Bullet Seed only really changes 1 relevant matchup and that’s against Umbreon, and even then a Snarl Shiftry may be able to overcome it.

While the Community Day Move is a bit of a flop, Shiftry is still a top notch Pokemon in Great League PvP. This event presents a good opportunity to upgrade your Shiftry! Along with the normal fare, there will also be a special Community Day Box for purchase that contains the elusive Elite Fast TM. I love giving Niantic money lol.
