When Boruto Naruto Next Generations introduced Code into the manga as the next major villain of the series, the expectations of fans were high, because his power level was higher than Jigen's and Naruto and Sasuke had just lost the power of the nine tails and the rinnegan respectively. However, after Code got his limiters removed he's not exactly lived up to the hype, especially after Daemon and Ada made him look like a fool. It's time for us to discuss what makes Code a good/bad villain and how the Boruto Time Skip can change the perception of Code as a villain if certain fixes are made to the character.
