528The Kwisatz Haderach. A term that hasn’t been used so far in Dune Prophecy, but a term we all know the Sisterhood is being guided by nonetheless. The Bene Gesserit Breeding Programme was originally established to breed better leaders for the Imperium of the Known Universe. But overtime, it morphed into a mad quest for creating a super being that could perceive the past, present and future. This entity ended up being Paul Atreides, and after him, it was his son, Leto. The Bene Gesserit had succeeded in manifesting the equivalent of a god on earth, but their programme was ultimately a failure because they could not control either of them. However, they aren’t the only ones experimenting with fate. There is another group in Dune that attempted to create a Kwisatz Haderach of their own, and it’s possible that Dune Prophecy’s main antagonist is connected to them. So what is the story of this other Failed Kwisatz Haderach? And is the Sisterhood falling prey to a conspiracy?
