114Railroad Corporation is similar in many ways to the old Railroad Tycoon series, and in this review video I basically talk about what you do, how it runs, and if I think it's worth buying or not in 2023.
Railroad Corporation, is it worth it? Well if you enjoy tycoon-like games and you’re looking for something similar to the old Railroad Tycoon games or Railway Empire then I reckon it’s a pretty safe bet you’ll enjoy this, and since the sequel comes out in a few months I decided I better get a move on if I wanted to review this one first. Aaaand I did… Soo here we are.
First let’s get the big questions out the way. Does it support multiplayer? Yes, in either co-op or competitive modes. Is there an endless or a sandbox mode? Yes it does. Is there a campaign? Yep. Aaand how much is it? About 34 euros on Steam or a whole 1 pound on G2A depending on how you feel about grey market sites.
Now my take on the situation is that as a simple peasant trying to make my way in the world, I feel like I’m getting ripped off every time I buy anything at the moment, and as prices keep going up and with businesses reporting record profits year in and year out, I take every opportunity I can to save a few quid, so I decided to buy it from G2A.
Now in Railroad Corporation you build railroads and you run a corporation…. Which is probably why they picked that name in the first place.
It’s a top down economic management game that follows the same basic ideas as other tycoon-like games where you build tracks and buy trains to move goods around the map and basically try to make more money than your competitors.
