In my streaming journey, I've tinkered a lot with my audio setup and have found a lot of success at various price points. In today's video, we're going to talk about each of the setups and their pros and cons. At the end of the day, we will answer the question: Is the GoXLR Mini worth it?

For the free setup, all you need is two 3.5mm male-to-male cables and a lot of patience and time. This setup takes a lot of tinkering but ultimately it works nearly as good as the other options.

Want to step up your game? Upgrade to an entry-level mixer, such as the Beringer Q802USB. The mixer does reduce the complexity of the setup and improves the flexibility of audio routing a lot. However, bargain hardware has its quirks, so you'll need to tweak a bit.

But - the GoXLR Mini is worth every penny in regards to ease-of-use and quality. Time is money and the amount of polish applied to the TC-Helicon unit sets it over the top.
