Beating 32-core HWBot Scores with Prototype ProSiphon Cooler
54You might have seen the Linus Tech Tips video or read the Tom's Hardware articles about the prototype ProSiphon cooler from IceGiant, and today we are going to put the cooler to the test! We will overclock our 32-core 2990WX Threadripper system with Cinebench R20, x265, and try to claim our spot on the leaderboards over at HWBot. You'll have to see how the cooler holds out!
I'm not going to be dissecting the tech or design of this cooler but will be primarily focusing on overclocking with this cooler. We've upgraded a lot of our hardware on our test bench, and we're able to push nearly 1000W through our system while maintaining reasonable temperatures with this cooler.
