Take-Two Interactive has confirmed that they are in talks to acquire Codemasters, the longstanding british developers behind the Dirt, F1, and Project Cars franchises. The studio would add to their existing developer/publisher portfolio of 2K, Rockstar and Private Division. Outside of their modern racing game offerings, Codemasters has a rich history dating back to the 80s, working on the classic Dizzy, Micro Machines and Colin McRae Rally series.
