Is The Cute MMORPG ASTA Online, Shutting Down? AGAIN?!
86● Greetings and salutations my lovely little Bytelings my name is Wiggy and today I've got unfortunate news at least to those of you
whom enjoyed Asta Online!
● So if you're unaware of what Asta is, it's an MMORPG from Webzen, and it was released in 2016. Asta had a lot of trouble just
starting off, as it had more "cuter" styled graphics which never seems to turn out well for MMORPGs, I mean, just look at how will it turned out for Wildstar and the plethora of cutsie anime MMORPG or the anime MMORPG genre as a whole. it's cuteness wasn't the only thing however, it was also very reminiscent of an older World of Warcraft, with the same similar combat, and animations, heck they've even got some of World of Warcraft sound files used for some monsters within the game! Either way
let's Move on, ASTA was re-release under MoveGames, so did relatively well with getting people re-interested in ASTA granted not a HUGE amount, as ASTA was just so poorly received the first time around, people didn't have high hopes for it to succeed. And they were right to think so! As ASTA is once again shutting down. Now it's not because ASTA is necessarily a bad MMORPG, but rather the things within it, and the companies behind it kept screwing up.
● So the general complains about ASTA were the following a P2W cash shop, a general lack of end game content and poor to almost non existent translates and made learning how skills worked, or finding quest monsters frustrating. These were the major complains regarding ASTA. There were more problems but the list is too long.
● ASTA is officially terminated by the 8th of December and this time, I do believe it'll end up staying dead. So I know this sucks
for those of you whom actually like this MMORPG, but now you know! Hopefully you can find another MMORPG to sink your time into.
