I did some hand testing, which I show in the video to determine the new fire rates for the FG42. Based on my testing if you use the new FG 42 with rapid fire, it will feel like the original FG42 without rapid fire.

I think that this was the perfect balancing decision even though I really enjoyed using this gun, I think it is just an average weapon.
