Is This Dungeon Master's D&D Campaign Over- GM 911

So a short summary of what happened: The players were heading through a dungeon to find some captured mages. They found the mages and were able to get out, but as they left, they were introduced to the mastermind of the entire campaign, a sort of “I was behind this all along”. The problem is that upon seeing this enemy, even with thirteen supporting units, they were able to overpower and kill the main antagonist of the entire campaign (they got really good rolls).
I’m not sure if to end the campaign there, as they’ve really already gotten the happily ever after ending, or do I try and give them a new mission? What should I do? This is the first campaign I’ve ever run and I’m in a lot of trouble. Help, please!
