When RNR released the first version of the V8 Supercars mod for Assetto Corsa, I and others were highly critical of the front end grip and turn in being non-existant. Despite this, the models and textures provided were absolutely brilliant and the mod showed a lot of potential to become one of Assetto Corsa's best mods.
Now we have v2.0 of this great mod with improved textures and physics for the Ford Falcon FGX, Holden Commodore and the Nissan Altima (which I think I called the Acenta at one point; Acenta being a trim level on Nissans in Europe).
There is an updated physics set for all three cars, all three cars handle differently and there are some optional retro and 2016 liveries for all three cars. I'll demo the new liveries for you but skip through a little quicker than I did last time.
Hopefully you can see the improvements in this video and I reckon this mod is good for a race soon! Wink wink!
At the end I do a hotlap in all three cars with a setup tweak and the Ford, Nissan and Holden did it within three tenths of each other, so the balance is there.
