Is this game a potential Game of the Year Contender?
56Black Myth Wukong is one of the contenders for Game Of the Year 2024. It is a game loosely based on the legendary exploits of Sun Wukong, or the Monkey God as some may know. This is an action RPG developed by Game Science featuring some of the best combat graphics I have seen for a long time. Yes there are some fantastic features and one or two red flags which people need to be aware of, otherwise they may get confused at the games ending.
Combat requires some familiarity with the dodge mechanics in the game and the developers have made that easy to do if you know HOW. Yup, I didn't realise this until my 9 year old son picked the game up and dodged like a pro. Find out in this video how he did it. I also discuss why some people are playing the game over and over again. Finally does this game really become very hard at higher levels? I am at NG 5 which means this is my fifth playthrough, so I share gameplay and you can judge for yourself. There is no way I am letting my 9 year old better his old man.
