I've still got a long way to go on this first contract in Train Life and it occurs to me I may have inadvertently taken a contract that connects the two most distant cities. It's a learning curve, no doubt but I wouldn't recommend something this lengthy as a first contract. Serves me right for not knowing my German geography better...
